Celebrating Mt. Pleasant's Cultural Heritage |
The Town has made major advancements in supporting the Gullah Geechie Cultural Heritage and Protecting the Sweetgrass Basket Weaving Tradition.
Sweetgrass Basket Makers!!
This is the first giveaway for 2025, and the largest FREE Sweetgrass Giveaway of my giveaway career.
There is a total of 1400 plants in all that will be cut and zip-tied and given to the Sweetgrass Basket Community to continue our beautiful Sweetgrass tradition.
Thursday September 11 at noon.
Location will be at the Sweetgrass Pavilion by the parking lot under the bridge.
