The Town of Mount Pleasant is proud to announce a new partnership with Lowcountry Local First (LLF) as part of its Local Economic Ambassador program, reinforcing the Town’s commitment to supporting and elevating local, independent businesses.
This collaboration launches in July and will be a joint effort between LLF and Mount Pleasant Made, the Town’s economic development initiative focused on showcasing local talent, businesses, and investment opportunities. As an official Local Economic Ambassador, Mount Pleasant joins a regional network of municipalities working to foster stronger, more resilient local economies.

Volunteer with Lowcountry Food Bank
Volunteer activities range from packing and sorting food to assisting with programs and distributions. You must be over the age of 12 to volunteer and be accompanied by an adult if younger than 16. If you’re interested in group activities, please contact us.
