Mount Pleasant is one of the best places to live in South Carolina — great restaurants, local events, waterfront activities, and a community that’s constantly growing. The problem? Finding out about everything happening here meant digging through dozens of websites, Facebook groups, and scattered event listings just to figure out what was going on this weekend.
Mount Pleasant Scoop was built to fix that. One newsletter. Every Monday. Everything worth knowing about Mount Pleasant, curated and delivered free.
Every issue is one quick Monday read: a curated roundup of local events, food, things to do, hidden gems, and community notes that matter to people who live here. No fluff, no algorithm — just the good stuff.
We also keep year-round local guides, updated regularly: Best Happy Hours, Best Lunch Spots, Best Restaurants, Things to Do, Fall Events, the Neighborhood Guide, New to Town, and the Shem Creek Local’s Guide — with more on the way.
Mount Pleasant only — Old Village to Carolina Park, Shem Creek to Park West. Events, live music, happy hours, restaurant openings, family activities, and the occasional hidden gem. If it's on Isle of Palms, Sullivan's, Daniel Island, or downtown, it isn't in the Scoop.
Join 3,300+ Mount Pleasant locals who get local events, food & drink, and things to do in one free email — every Monday morning.
